Law is the foundation of life and liberty.The objectives of the Law College are to nurture the discipline of law, to promote advanced studies and research so as to meet the social, economic and other needs of the fellow Indians. The discipline of Law establishes standards that sets guidelines for what is the acceptable behavior in society. The purpose of this field is to establish societal order by setting standards, guiding behaviour ,resolving disputes.and protecting the rights and duties of citizens.
This field encourages in conducting scientific investigations in legal and allied fields, to improve legal education with practical inputs, to impart instructions in law through full time faculty members & practicing lawyers, and to publish studies, books, periodicals, etc.
